Overview
Most event marketing failures are planning failures — not promotion failures. Whether you are hosting a webinar, a workshop, a conference, or a product launch, the difference between strong attendance and an empty room is usually how far in advance you start promoting and how consistently you show up across the right channels. This service creates a complete, structured event marketing plan for one event: a 4–6 week pre-event promotion timeline, a channel strategy covering social media, email, paid, and partnerships, a 20-post content calendar with post ideas organized by week and channel, an email sequence outline covering pre-event, during-event, and post-event communications, and a post-event follow-up plan. The output is a practical, ready-to-execute document tailored to your event type, target audience, and available budget — not a generic template.
Who Is This For?
- Businesses hosting webinars or online workshops and wanting a structured promotional approach rather than ad hoc posting
- Companies planning a product launch event who need a coordinated multi-channel marketing push in the weeks leading up to it
- Conference and event organizers who need a documented strategy to hand to a marketing team or execute independently
- Consultants and educators running paid workshops or training events who want to maximize registrations within their available marketing channels
- SMBs hosting their first formal event who are unsure how to structure their promotion timeline and channel mix
- Marketing teams that have run events before but without a documented plan and want a reusable framework going forward
What You Will Receive
- A 4–6 week event marketing timeline — structured week by week from the promotion launch date to event day
- Channel strategy covering which channels to use, how to use them, and what role each plays in the promotion — social media, email, paid advertising guidance, and partnership outreach
- A content calendar with 20 post ideas organized by week, channel, and content format — ready to hand to a content creator or execute directly
- An email sequence outline covering pre-event (awareness and registration), during-event (reminders and engagement), and post-event (follow-up and conversion) communications
- A post-event follow-up plan — covering how to engage attendees, re-engage no-shows, and convert interest into next steps after the event ends
- Delivered as a structured PDF document and an editable Word or Google Doc, plus a content calendar spreadsheet
Workflow
- Place your order and receive an intake form via email
- Submit your event details — date, format, topic, target audience, budget range, and existing marketing channels
- We review your inputs and begin building the promotion timeline based on the time remaining before your event date
- Channel strategy is developed based on your available platforms, budget, and audience profile
- The 20-post content calendar is structured by week and channel
- The email sequence outline is drafted across pre-event, during-event, and post-event phases
- The post-event follow-up plan is written
- All components are assembled into the plan document and content calendar spreadsheet
- Deliverables are shared for your review, followed by one round of written revisions
Important Notes
- This service covers one event only; multiple events require separate engagements or a custom quote
- The plan is based on the event details, timeline, and budget provided at the time of the intake — if the event date is fewer than 4 weeks away, the promotion timeline will be compressed accordingly and this will be noted in the plan
- Content creation and design are not included — the content calendar provides post ideas and descriptions, not written copy or visual assets
- Paid advertising guidance is included as part of the channel strategy; actual ad campaign setup, management, or budget allocation are not included
- Event registration platform setup (Eventbrite, Zoom, Luma, etc.) is not included in this service
- The plan is tailored to the channels and budget you currently have available — it will not recommend channels or tactics that are not realistic given your stated resources
- The timeline begins after the completed intake form with all event details is received and confirmed

Professional Disclaimer
This service delivers a marketing plan based on the event details, audience description, available channels, and budget range provided by the client. Attendance outcomes, registration numbers, and engagement results depend on execution quality, audience relevance, channel reach, and timing — all of which are outside the scope of this planning service.
